Welcome to Sleepless Shadows—a psychological survival game where the only way to win is to fall asleep.

You play as an insomniac trapped in a night that refuses to end. With each passing second, your grip on reality slips further, and the shadows in your mind take shape. Hallucinations creep closer. Intrusive thoughts scratch at your sanity. The clock ticks mercilessly forward, reminding you that time is running out.

Your only weapons? Box breathing and clicking the thoughts and visions away

Inhale. Hold. Exhale. Hold. Keep your breathing steady to calm your unraveling mind. But stay focused—because the longer you remain awake, the more distorted the world becomes. Can you outlast your own thoughts and slip into sleep before dawn?

How to Play

Your goal: Fill the Sleep Meter and fall asleep before dawn.

Controls

Mouse Only

  • Box Breathing: Hold the left mouse button anywhere on the screen when the indicator arrow is on the lighter-colored line and release it when it reaches the darker-colored line. This calms your mind and fills the Sleep Meter.
  • Fighting Hallucinations: When intrusive thoughts or hallucinations appear, click them away with the right mouse button before they overwhelm you. Removing them makes your Sleep Meter fill faster.

Win Condition

Successfully fill the Sleep Meter before dawn to fall asleep and escape the night.

Lose Condition

 If you fail to sleep before dawn, your mind unravels, and reality slips away…
